New! Concussion Awareness Procedure

All parents/guardians, student athletes, coaches, trainers, supervisors and staff members must complete the Board's Concussion Awareness Procedure and Acknowledgement process before sports participation and/or activity is permitted. Rowan's Law provides the foundation and information that every Board in the province will be using to support the procedure. Participating in sport is an important aspect of child health and well-being, but safety is always our priority.

Everyone is asked to follow a few simple steps, reviewing and discussing information along the way before they submit an acknowledgement form. Once this is completed, you or your child will be ready to participate! A concussion is a serious injury, but together we can help keep our students safe. All resources are online. For alternative formats, please contact your school office.
