St. Patrick’s Caledonia Students Temporarily Move to Virtual Learning
For immediate release:
The Brant Haldimand Norfolk Catholic District School Board announced that effective tomorrow (Thursday, March 25, 2021), students at St. Patrick’s Catholic Elementary School in Caledonia will temporarily move to virtual learning, up to and including Tuesday, March 30, 2021.
Due to the number of recently identified high-risk close contacts connected to the active case of COVID-19 in the school community, to ensure the safety of all, and in consultation with Public Health, St. Patrick’s School will be closed to in-person learning, up to and including Tuesday, March 30, 2021. The Before and After School Child Program is also cancelled. The onsite Child Care Centre, CYPRUS, remains open for their full time child care participants. The school is scheduled to re-open for in-person learning on Wednesday, March 31, 2021.
During the closure (to in-person learning), students will continue their learning via Brightspace D2L. Tomorrow, educators will be in contact with students and families to share how learning will happen both asynchronously and synchronously, as well as support families with the continuity of learning.
