Alternative Education

The Brant Haldimand Norfolk Catholic District School Board is committed to providing individualized programming for students experiencing significant difficulties with regular attendance at school.

Available programs include:

Alternative Education Program

Supervised Alternative Learning (SAL)

Home Instruction - On school site

Home Instruction - Students home or alternative location

 

All programs provide

Individualized approach to:

  • Spiritual focus on the Catholic Graduate Expectations
  • Credit acquisition - compulsory and optional credits
  • Credit recovery for previously failed courses
  • Credit rescue of current credits
  • Participation in the Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test (OSSLT)
  • Literacy course
  • Community service hours

  • Secretarial support
  • Community partners
  • Special education resources
