Community Planning and Facility Partnerships
The Brant Haldimand Norfolk Catholic District School Board recently amended its policy on Community Planning and Facility Partnerships as a result of the new Ministry of Education guideline, which was issued in March 2015. The main purpose of the guideline is to encourage school boards to work with community partners to share facilities for the benefit of the school board, its students and the community and to optimize the use of public assets owned by school boards.
As per the Board’s policy, an Open House will be held to exchange information with interested community partners in Norfolk County regarding space requirements and community needs.
The Open House will be held on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm, in the Library at Holy Trinity Catholic High School, 128 Evergreen Hill Road, Simcoe
It would be helpful if relevant planning information; including, but not limited to, population projections, growth plans, community needs, land-use and green space / park requirements information could be brought to the meeting.
