In any school year, it is essential to have strategies in place to prevent the spread of disease in the school-based setting. These strategies are not new, however, it is important to redouble our efforts to ensure that well established health practices are enforced due to the recent concerns about infection of H1N1 and to prevent or reduce the spread of influenza.
